Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have a minimum for weddings?
Yes, we do!
To save the date, we require a minimum of $3000. We use seasonal flowers only; specialty flowers like orchids, peonies, garden roses, etc., will incur an additional charge.
The website says " Sold Out."
We sell out very quickly. We are a tiny shop and very limited on the number of orders we take weekly. If we are sold out, we usually restock the following week. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
Can I choose the time of delivery?
Not usually. Sorry! We get many orders, and it's nearly impossible to deliver at a specific time for everyone. Most days we only have one delivery person. But please let us know if it's for a business or a special event, and we will try our best to accommodate.
Do your arrangements come with a vase?
Yes, most do in a 9-inch or 7-inch vase. We do, however, also offer hand-tied bouquets wrapped in kraft paper. Please read the details before purchasing.
How long do flowers last?
Flowers are perishable, which is what makes them unique. They are very delicate and don't do well in the sun, heat, or next to fruit. Fruit produces a gas that makes the flowers wilt quicker. Please note that some flowers naturally last longer than others. Place your flowers in a cool room away from windows to make them last longer. With proper care, mixed bouquets are expected to last 5-6 days.
Aren't flowers supposed to last two weeks?
No. Most cut flowers do not last this long. There are very few exceptions.
Do you offer same-day delivery?
Yes, we do! Please place your order before Noon.
What cities do you deliver to?
Cities we DO deliver to are the following:
San Jose
Milpitas
Santa Clara
Los Gatos
Saratoga
Do you deliver to hospitals?
Due to COVID restrictions, we only deliver to residential homes or workplace offices.
Do the arrangements come with a card?
Yes! All of them come with a handwritten note card.
Why do you have so many pictures of Lulu and Tofu?
Because they are the light of our life.
Refund Policy
As the purchaser of items from Lulu's House of Flowers LLC, the purchaser agrees that:
All sales are final.
As flowers are perishable items, returns are only accepted under the following circumstances:
All issues must be indicated to us within 24 hours of delivery — if you call after hours, please leave a message with a time to reach you.
As items are perishable, we do not issue refunds; however, an in-store credit may be available if the issue cannot be resolved.
Returns are accepted on a “quality” basis only — issues of “not liking” the arrangement are not grounds for a return.
As flowers are perishable, you must water them; otherwise, they will not last long. It is the recipient’s responsibility to re-cut and water the arrangement.
If you are ordering flowers for someone else, choose something they would like — style preferences are not grounds for returns.
